Even before birth, your baby is establishing a pattern of behavior. Your baby is beginning to have regular sleep-wake cycles and its breathing, yawning, and swallowing are taking on a more distinct regularity. These advancements will build a solid foundation for your baby's future development. Take-note of the sleep-wake cycle that your baby has developed as it will be very similar to the one they have after birth.

Your own life may seem less rhythmical than your baby's. You may find things are slightly off at work. Your social life may be changing as well. You may be seeing less of your friends, because you don’t always feel up to socializing. Although it is nice to stay home and relax, don’t become too isolated. You will want a good support network around after baby arrives. If nothing else, stay in touch with your friends by phone, email or social media.

Your baby is now making good use of all the space in your uterus. During the third trimester you baby is quickly growing and it may feel as if your body is struggling to keep up. As your belly expands it important to keep your skin moisturized to reduce the itchy, stretching feeling. Cocoanut oil is a cheap, natural alternative to all of the fancy pregnancy oils and lotions on the market. Also remember to drink plenty of water. Not only will drinking water help your body replenish the amniotic fluid daily, but it will help keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.
